LASER REMOVAL AT ROWEL INK
One studio, start to finish
Laser tattoo removal at Rowel Ink is done in our private studio in Sundbyberg, by a tattoo artist and a trained laser practitioner.
That matters if you plan to cover the old tattoo. We lighten and redraw in the same place, so you are never guessing how much ink needs to come out.

the process
How laser removal works
Laser removal is a process, not a single visit. Here's what to expect from start to finish.
Free consultation
We assess your tattoo, discuss your goals and estimate how many sessions you'll need.
Laser sessions
Each session breaks down the ink. Sessions are spaced weeks apart so your skin can heal and the ink fade between treatments.
Healing & results
Your tattoo fades gradually between sessions until it's removed or lightened enough to cover with a new design.

FAQ
Laser removal questions, answered
Here are the answers to the questions we hear most often about laser tattoo removal.
How many sessions will I need?
Most tattoos need several sessions. The exact number depends on size, ink colour, depth and age of the tattoo, we assess this at your consultation.
Does it hurt?
Rowel Ink uses a cooling machine before, during and after each session, which takes most of the sting out.
What colours can be removed?
Black and dark blue respond best and usually clear completely. Green and purple take longer. Yellow, white and some pastels are the hardest and can leave a faint shadow.
How long between sessions?
Six to eight weeks. Your skin needs that time to heal and your body needs it to clear the broken-down ink. Treating sooner gives a worse result and raises the risk of scarring, so Rowel Ink does not shorten the interval on request.
Can I get a cover-up after removal?
Yes, and for many clients that is the goal from the start. Lightening a tattoo enough to cover it usually takes fewer sessions than removing it completely.
